Purim Spiel (Play) 2025

We had our first month in our new venue: February with One Church. {pictures TBD). And now we're continuing with our Ari Yehudah holiday traditions: PURIM! March 15, 2025 at 10:00 a.m. is a special holiday presentation to commemorate events found in the book of Esther. It is tradition to read through the entire book of Esther and then to put on a parody play. In both, we cancel out the name of Haman every time it's mentioned by yelling out "boo!", making noise with something called a "grogger" or stamping our feet. We do the exact opposite for every mention of Esther and Mordecai. Did you know? Esther is one of those books of the Bible where the Name of G-d is not mentioned even once, but we do see the "Hand of G-d" in action all the way through! Join us for an original comedic presentation of the story of Esther and share the flyer with your family, friends, etc.!
