About Me

I am Aifric, a qualified preschool teacher and Special Needs Assistant with a particular interest in language, comprehension and processing difficulties.

Before moving into education, I studied Law at Trinity College Dublin, graduating with First Class Honours, and went on to qualify and work as a solicitor.

I created Building Language Bridges to help parents understand and support the hidden language demands children face every day, from following instructions and finding the right words to reading comprehension, maths language, inferencing and understanding what a question is really asking.

My focus is on turning evidence-informed strategies into practical, straightforward support that parents can actually use at home. I believe children should still have access to age-appropriate learning. We simplify the route into the information, not the information itself.
