About Me
I'm Spencer — a Recovery Coach Professional (RCP), internationally accredited through CCAR and a member of the International Association of Recovery Coach Professionals (IARCP). I'm based in Brighton, UK.
I spent over twenty-five years inside a loop of harmful habits before I found a way out — not through willpower, but through making things with my own hands. I taught myself yakisugi, the Japanese craft of charring wood, in a small workshop in Barcelona, and built a community of over 700 people who were looking for the same thing I was. My work and story were featured in Barcelona Metropolitan Magazine.
Everything I write comes from that road, not from a textbook. The C.R.E.A.T.E. series is ten self-study manuals built on one framework — the same six letters throughout, but the words behind them change to meet whatever you're carrying: habits, grief, sobriety, rest, creativity, an ordinary good life you're trying to rebuild. Alongside the manuals, I offer one-to-one coaching for anyone who'd rather talk it through than read it alone.
Building Empowerment, Transcending Trauma, Emerging Resilient — better days are ahead.
