Hi, I’m Conor. I’m a wildlife artist and I’ve recently started getting behind the camera and building my own library of wildlife reference photos.

I originally started taking my own photos because I wanted better references for my artwork, but it quickly became something I really enjoyed in its own right. So I decided to start making some of those references available to other artists too.

Being an artist myself definitely changes what I look for when I’m out with the camera. That means I'm looking for more than just the perfect portrait. I photograph different angles, poses, expressions, anatomy, movement and natural behaviour, along with the smaller details in fur, feathers, skin and eyes that can be incredibly useful when creating artwork.

All of the references come with a licence allowing you to create and sell your own artwork from them, as well as use your artwork for exhibitions and competitions.

I’m only just getting started with the photography side of things, so the library will continue to grow as I get out and photograph more wildlife.

Hopefully you find something here that inspires your next piece.
