There's no magic formula to weight management despite what' diet clubs,' and social media influencers would have you believe.
It's not about cutting out vital food groups or restricting when you eat. It's not about following the latest fad diet that teaches you nothing about how to eat, but gets you to purchase branded products or meal replacements.
The most effective way to manage weight and lead a healthy lifestyle is to eat a diet built on balanced nutrition and scientific evidence.
That's one that includes fats, carbs, and protein in balanced amounts. And either
eat fewer calories than you burn off during each day to lose weight (calorie deficit),
eat the same amount of calories as you burn off each day (maintenance calories) to stay the same weight or
eat more calories than you burn off each day to put on weight (calorie surplus).
I created these cookbooks when I became disillusioned by diet clubs and social media influencers who sold meal plans but didn't educate me on calorie counting and macro balancing.
Who am I?
I'm a certified nutrition coach who loves cooking! Once I started eating my own recipes - carefully calorie counted and macro balanced - I went on to lose 55 lbs in 18 months.
