ENRG Perspective
Between us, we bring over thirty-five years of curiosity about the same question: why do people do what they do?
Ian has been studying the Enneagram for more than thirty years — long enough to have moved well past theory and into something far more practical. Alongside the Enneagram, he draws on a deep interest in how the mind works and what sits underneath our patterns of behaviour. His particular gift is in typing people accurately — not from a questionnaire alone, but from really seeing them.
When we got together five years ago, Ian introduced me to the Enneagram. In the spirit of not wanting to put all my intellectual eggs in his basket, I went off to research it myself...
I came back with all my eggs.
It wasn't that the information wasn't out there — it was that the way most people taught it made my head spin. Wings, tritypes, instinctual variants — by the time I'd worked through the explanations, I'd lost the thread of the actual insight entirely.
That experience became the foundation of ENRG Perspective. We kept what makes the Enneagram genuinely powerful — your core type, and the lines that show how you move in growth and under stress — and built a practical framework around it that connects who you are to how you live. Energise, Nourish, Restore, Grow.
We're based in the Central Highlands of Tasmania, and we work with individuals, coaches, and organisations who want something more than an interesting description of themselves.
