Yoyo to Mindset

I was an overweight yoyo dieter, that did not exercise for over 15 years. Started things, tried them and stopped. Too busy, working, mum etc etc etc

At 35 I thought I need to do something, I drummed up some courage (it took months!) and created time to join an Aqua aerobics class, you can’t see me in the water!! I did this on and off. I moved on from there to Clubbersize, it’s dark in there too!! Slowly my confidence grew as I started to feel better in myself. 

I then started to run, I just felt the urge to do it but would go down the track so no one could see me. I slowly progressed to the streets. There is a much longer story but I still run now. I also joined a brilliant bootcamp, military style

I didn’t lose weight much during this time, it was yoyoing still. I looked stronger but still classed as “obese” However, I was taking part in more things and gained new friends.

I have lost weight recently due to a shift in my mindset, I guess I was ready and applying the rules that I had given myself with my exercise.

Of course, I had help, I learnt about eating different types of food and had accountability.

It was my mindset that has kept that going, ME. I had to work on that though. To see the self-sabotage that I was doing and then overcome it and create new beliefs.

I want to share my knowledge, skills and motivation as a coach and as a person that understands. I have a way and it doesn’t involve points or sins!!  Do you want to lose weight, become more active, improve your mental health or just start to make a change? Join other people doing the same and me guiding you along!
