Hi, I’m Jay Farmer (BS, CSW)—golf instructor, mental health social worker, and author of The Golf Mindset Playbook.


I’ve lived both sides of this game: the pure joy of striping it… and the sick feeling of choking when it matters most. Those pressure moments on the course (including a very real blow-up hole on 18, see the story, In The Mind of a Choke Artist) are what pushed me to study mindset, confidence, and performance at a deeper level.


Today, I combine golf instruction with mental health and sports psychology principles to help golfers—especially young players and their parents—handle nerves, recover from mistakes, and build real confidence on and off the course.
