Attention Parents of Beautiful, Angry Toddlers!

"She threw her blocks across the room and screamed, " I'm angry!” Then she picked up her book of emotions...."

Revealed on this page...

• Why learning how to process emotions during toddler stages can teach independence

• How parents and toddlers can manage stressful situations using simple strategies

•Why children thrive in highly communicative environments

“If you've ever found yourself powerless during a toddler breakdown, if you’ve tried to seek help from friends and family, but those ideals were not received well by your little one, if you've found yourself crying with your toddler when they have no words to express how they feel; then you are about to learn a few simple, but power strategies that you've been searching for. Here's why…”

Do you want to experience peaceful “parenting” days?

Have you ever planned a simple outing with your child to find yourself frustrated that you had to cut the trip short? Being a toddler is more about feelings than experiences in the early years. Our children thrive on opportunities to express themselves even when those “expressions” seem harsh or out of character. What’s lovely about that age is that your parental influence can help create opportunities to help them find strategies to help them feel heard no matter what's going on.

  • Help uncover how your child will react to certain situations before they occur by encouraging emotional role play.
  • Develop play-based strategies that will help foster their sense of independence.
  • Explore opportunities for self-growth by creating a safe emotional space for children to state how they fell without feelings of dismissiveness

Tired of trying to help calm your child using the same old techniques that cause more pain than help?

I have parented two children, one through adulthood and another to preschool, while helping to guide many other toddlers throughout my early childhood career, so I know how hard it can be to manage the everyday experiences of life without taking on other projects or programs. I also know first hand what happens if we don’t address the immediate concerns of our children’s emotions BEFORE it can grow into something far greater.

So what happens if we do nothing and continue to watch our toddlers breakdown?

  • Our toddlers can express emotional burnout where no amount of consoling helps
  • They can find themselves at odds with teachers, nannies, or grandparents causing stressful, emotional blowups
  • We as parents may become “testy” or “overwhelmed” when we just don’t understand the emotions of our beautiful, little, angry toddler.

Who am I? And Why Should You Listen to Me?

My name is Kiamani Robey. I am an established writer, author, parent, auntie, and friend. I am the author of Take Me As I AmFinding Your Self Truth Hidden Behind Pain, Fear, and Regret. I am the creator of The Grow With Me Series where we create stories and activities that help foster language and emotional growth between toddlers, preschoolers and their families. I am the author of Teddy, How Do You Feel? The first book in the Grow With Teddy series, where Teddy and friends express themselves using simple, descriptive language and pictures. The next book in our series is called, Teddy, Where Are You Going?  This book showcases the many modes of transportation that many toddlers see while traveling with family and caregivers to and from their communities.

Our books also provide opportunities for parents of all ages and parenting styles to express their love of language with their little one.

Just hear what Mariah of Ohio, stated about Teddy, How Do You Feel? Our picture book about feelings.

"Me and my husband are first time parents. And we were given a lot of parenting books when Skylar was born, but none of them could have prepared me for our first encounter with him screaming in the store. We tried to calm him, but nothing worked. Not hugs, nothing. His emotions continued to grow and I found myself crying because I didn't understand why he was so upset. I started scouring social media and came across a blog post about parenting. I found Teddy, How Do You Feel? and when it arrived I started reading it to Skylar before bed. I also read it when Skylar was upset. He began to mimic what the book mentioned. When he was scared, he would grab his book and sit with me pointing to the pictures of the parents hugging their son. The Grow With Me series is a friend in my house! I can't wait to see what's next!
