🤍 Welcome to MamaNest — created by Ananda, for you

When my daughter was born, I didn’t become the radiant, glowing version of “Mom” I had seen on Instagram.

I became a woman who googled “why am I crying during every feed” at 3am, silently, in the dark, holding my baby with one arm and my unraveling sanity with the other.

I had saved every checklist. I had read the books.

But no one had warned me that the hardest part wasn’t how to care for my baby — it was how to survive becoming someone new.

My old life was gone. My body ached. My thoughts scared me. And all the “help” everyone promised? It slowly faded.

So I started creating the things I desperately needed and couldn’t find:

  • A guide that wouldn’t just say “you’re doing great” — but show me how to breathe through the chaos.
  • A tracker I could actually manage when I hadn’t eaten in 12 hours.
  • Gentle daily affirmations that didn’t feel cheesy — just real.

That’s how MamaNest was born.

From my pain. From my need. From the quiet wish that maybe one mom out there felt like me — and needed someone to reach across the silence and say: “You’re not broken. You’re not alone.”

Here, I don’t promise perfect. I promise honest.

Every product in this shop was crafted with trembling hands and a tired heart — but always with love.

You’re doing better than you think.

And you’ve found your nest now.

With so much tenderness,

Ananda

About Me

Hi, I’m Amanda — a mom of three who’s been through the beautiful chaos of newborn life. When I had my first daughter, I expected the picture-perfect moments from Instagram, but instead found myself overwhelmed, exhausted, and disconnected. I felt like I was losing myself — physically, emotionally, and mentally.

That experience led me to dive deep into postpartum recovery, infant sleep, and maternal well-being. I created this guide to help other moms feel less alone and more in control. Inside, you’ll find gentle, practical tools to care for your baby and yourself — because you matter too. You are stronger than you think, and I’m here to remind you of that.

Here’s what moms are saying…

"This checklist saved me from overspending on so many unnecessary baby items! As a first-time mom, I was overwhelmed by all the registry suggestions. This guide kept me focused on what really matters. I just wish it included a tiny note section for personal additions, but overall, it's exactly what I needed."

Lauren P., expecting mom

"Loved how simple and clear this checklist is! It helped me feel confident without cluttering my house. I did end up adding a few extra items based on personal preference, but I appreciated that it didn’t pressure me to buy everything under the sun."

Emily R., minimalist mom-to-be

"Finally — a realistic list of baby essentials! I kept seeing huge lists everywhere, but this one kept it practical. There was one item I personally didn’t use much (the swaddle blankets), but every baby is different. Overall, super helpful for keeping things simple."

Megan S., mom of a 1-month-old

"I really liked how this guide focused on what’s truly necessary. It gave me peace of mind while shopping. If I had to mention something, I would’ve loved a brief explanation for why each item made the list — but still, it was a lifesaver during my nesting phase."

Samantha K., first-time mom

"This checklist kept me sane during my third trimester! It was nice having clear tasks instead of scrolling through endless blogs. A couple of tasks felt a bit obvious, but honestly, when you're pregnant and tired, even simple reminders are gold."

Hailey M., 35 weeks pregnant

"Exactly what I needed to stay organized before my baby arrived. It covered all the basics without making me feel overwhelmed. I would have liked a small section on last-minute hospital bag tips, but that’s just a bonus idea. Great resource overall!"

Brittany J., soon-to-be mom

"I didn’t realize how much I needed this until I started using it. Taking a moment each day to check in with myself made a huge difference in my mood. I do wish there were a few rotating prompts for variety, but it’s such a simple and powerful tool."

Rachel D., mom of a newborn

"Such a thoughtful little printable! It reminded me to prioritize my mental health during those tough postpartum days. I ended up printing a bunch of copies. If it had a digital fillable option, it would be even better, but I still love it!"

Jessica M., 2 months postpartum
