Effective date: 1 September 2026
These Terms of Use apply to digital products, resources, templates, calculators, guides and other materials supplied by HELIOVRA.
1. General Information Only
HELIOVRA products are provided for general educational and operational information purposes.
The information does not constitute legal, engineering, electrical, structural, financial, tax, regulatory or accreditation advice.
Commercial solar and battery projects vary significantly. Users are responsible for obtaining appropriate project-specific advice and engaging suitably licensed, accredited and competent professionals where required.
2. Licence to Use HELIOVRA Products
When you purchase a HELIOVRA digital product, you receive a non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use the purchased materials for your own internal business purposes, subject to these Terms.
You may use outputs generated from HELIOVRA tools and templates in your own internal project work and customer proposals, provided that all information, calculations, assumptions and project requirements are independently verified before use.
3. What You May Not Do
Unless HELIOVRA provides prior written permission, you must not:
• resell or redistribute HELIOVRA products or files;
• sublicense the products to another person or business;
• publicly upload or share the original files;
• reproduce substantial portions of HELIOVRA products for a competing commercial product;
• remove HELIOVRA copyright, branding, disclaimer or version information; or
• represent HELIOVRA material as official regulator, government, network, standards-body or accreditation guidance.
4. Regulatory and Technical Information
Legislation, standards, incentive schemes, certificate schemes, product approvals, accreditation requirements and electricity-network requirements can change.
Users must verify current requirements with the relevant official authority before relying on HELIOVRA information for a live project.
Where information contained in a HELIOVRA product differs from a current official requirement, the current official requirement takes priority.
5. Calculators and Project Outputs
HELIOVRA calculators, worksheets and examples are intended to assist with preliminary project screening and commercial analysis.
Results depend on the accuracy of the information entered and the assumptions used.
HELIOVRA does not guarantee system performance, energy savings, financial returns, payback periods, network approvals, incentive eligibility, certificate creation, export capacity, structural suitability or any other project outcome.
6. Intellectual Property
Unless otherwise stated, HELIOVRA retains intellectual-property rights in its original digital products, content, templates, calculators, branding and associated materials.
Purchase of a product provides a licence to use it under these Terms; it does not transfer ownership of the underlying intellectual property.
7. Australian Consumer Law
Nothing in these Terms excludes, restricts or modifies any consumer guarantee, right or remedy that cannot lawfully be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law or other applicable legislation.
8. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, HELIOVRA is not responsible for losses arising from reliance on information, assumptions or calculations that have not been independently verified for the relevant project.
Any liability that cannot lawfully be excluded remains subject to applicable law.
