My crochet journey began when I was just 10 years old, when my wonderful nana taught me how to crochet. She passed down not only a skill, but a tradition filled with love, patience and creativity.
Every stitch I make today is a tribute to her and the comforting feeling of home she inspired. What started as precious time spent crocheting together has grown into something I never imagined—a small business creating thoughtful handmade gifts that bring comfort, happiness and smiles to others.

From Hobby to Handmade Business
What began as a simple love of crochet has grown into Homegrown Hugs – a small business built on creativity, kindness and a passion for making people smile.
Over the years, Homegrown Hugs has continued to grow with every new idea. From my first handmade crochet gifts, I’ve expanded into collections including Emotional Support gift boxes, Zodiac keepsakes, Birthday Cake plushies, teacher gifts, character-inspired creations and my own crochet patterns.
Along the way, I’ve had the pleasure of attending local craft markets, supporting community events and charities, and creating personalised orders for customers celebrating life’s special moments.
Every order is crocheted by hand with care, beautifully packaged, and made with the hope that it will bring comfort, joy or a smile to someone special.
