One of the most rewarding parts of my handmade journey has been meeting customers face to face at local markets, craft fairs and community events. Every event has been an opportunity to share my creations, hear the stories behind each purchase and watch Homegrown Hugs continue to grow.
Christmas Markets
Christmas markets were where Homegrown Hugs really began to grow. They gave me the confidence to share my handmade creations with the public and meet some wonderful customers who supported my small business from the very beginning.
RSPCA Annual Dog Show
Although the weather had other plans! The strong winds meant I couldn't put up my gazebo, so I turned my car boot into my display instead. It certainly wasn't the setup I'd imagined, but visitors still stopped to browse my handmade creations and it became one of my most memorable market days.
Looking Ahead
I always look forward to attending new markets and community events throughout the year. Every event helps Homegrown Hugs grow, introduces my handmade creations to new people and allows me to continue doing what I love most—creating thoughtful gifts that bring comfort, smiles and lasting memories.
