My name is Martin and I am from Košice, Slovakia. In 2005, I spent eight months in Iceland as an international volunteer, working mainly in Heiðmörk near Reykjavík. Years later, I turned my memories and experiences into stories about Iceland, volunteering and life among Icelanders.
