Before my son was born, I was already navigating a difficult relationship. Pregnancy only magnified the cracks that riddled the foundation, and by the time I crossed into postpartum, I was carrying far more than just the weight of new motherhood. I was exhausted and utterly overwhelmed with what my life had become.
And yet, despite everything, I found my way through.
Not because I had it all figured out (I definitely did not), but because I had already spent years healing my body from deep deficiencies and imbalances. I understood what depletion looked like—physically, mentally, and emotionally—and I had the tools to rebuild, even in the face of something entirely new and strange. Postpartum wasn’t easy, but it also didn’t destroy me. I knew how to nourish myself in ways that supported my body, my mind, and my spirit.
