The name is a mashup of my two daughters, Kamiyah and Amora, because this business has always been family-first, down to its name. I come from a background in retail management and event planning, and somewhere along the way those two things collided into Kamora & Co. — part event styling and coordination, part digital toolkit for anyone planning a celebration of their own.

These guides exist because I kept having the same conversation with brides and hosts over and over: "I wish someone had told me what to ask before I booked." So I started writing it all down — the real questions, the actual red flags, the exact words to say when a vendor call gets awkward — and turned it into something you can keep on your phone and pull up before every single call.
