Lest We Forget Museum of Slavery is the only slavery museum in Philadelphia PA and the only area museum with authentic slave artifacts. The rare collection reveals how different coming to America was for millions of enslaved Africans. These objects shed light on a dark and tragic period of American history and reveal truths about how the Atlantic Slave Trade has left indelible scars that continue to affect American society today.
