About Legally Sound HR

Legally Sound HR helps UK organisations manage people well and use AI safely and lawfully.

We are a team of experienced HR and employment law specialists. We work with organisations that want clear, practical rules for the way work is changing, so they can adopt new tools with confidence rather than worry.

Why we created these templates

AI tools have arrived in most workplaces faster than the rules to govern them. Many organisations know they need an AI policy but don’t know where to start, and bespoke advice isn’t always affordable for smaller teams.

Our templates bring our approach to AI governance into an editable, affordable format. They are written in plain English for workplaces in Great Britain, and they reflect UK law and guidance as at October 2026, including the latest rules on automated decision-making.

What makes them different

Written by HR and employment law specialists, for employers
Practical rather than theoretical: registers, approval forms, worked examples and training materials, not just policy wording
Kept up to date: if UK law changes in a way that makes them materially inaccurate within 12 months of your purchase, we send you updated versions free of charge
