After writing, KNOW THAT I KNOW BETTER, Malika Staar created MaliStaar Publishing. It was initially created to be the publishing house for all her personally written books, but people kept asking for advice on how to create their books. Her passion to help others kicked into overdrive and before she could catch her breath, MaliStaar Publishing became it's own brand.

During the COVID-19 Pandemic, she launched her first class, THE SECRET RECIPE TO PUBLISHING BETTER in 2020, which was a huge success.

MaliStaar Publishing, LLC positively impacts the community by transforming storytelling into a pathway for education, entrepreneurship, and empowerment. Through our workshops and youth programs, we teach people —especially those from underserved neighborhoods — how to write, publish, and market their own books. These programs increase literacy, digital skills, and self-confidence while creating new avenues for income and leadership.
