North Ridge County™ Custom Gear Rules & Guidelines

1. General Rules

  • Custom gear is a cosmetic feature only and does not grant any rank, authority, permissions, or special treatment.
  • All custom gear must remain professional and realistic for the North Ridge County™ environment.
  • Staff reserves the right to deny, modify, or remove any custom gear that does not meet community standards.
  • Purchasing custom gear does not exempt members from server rules, SOPs, or chain of command requirements.

2. Custom Helmet Rules

  • Helmet colors and designs must remain realistic and fire-service appropriate.
  • Custom helmet shields may include your name, callsign, company number, or approved department markings.
  • Offensive, inappropriate, copyrighted, or controversial designs are prohibited.
  • Staff may require changes to any helmet design that conflicts with department standards.

3. Custom SCBA Mask Piece Rules

  • Custom SCBA mask pieces may include approved names, unit numbers, or simple design elements.
  • Designs must not interfere with realism or department identification.
  • Inappropriate text, symbols, or images are prohibited.

4. Custom SCBA Backstrap Rules

  • Backstrap name tags may display:
  • Your approved in-game name
  • Callsign
  • Company assignment
  • Names must follow community naming policies.
  • Staff may remove any custom backstrap that is deemed unrealistic or inappropriate.

5. Jacket Name Rules

  • Members may request their approved in-game name on the back of their turnout jacket.
  • Names must be appropriate and match the member's approved roleplay identity.
  • Nicknames, offensive language, advertisements, or impersonation of staff members are prohibited.

6. Design Approval Process

  • All custom gear designs must be submitted for review before implementation.
  • Development staff may make minor adjustments to ensure compatibility and realism.
  • Approval is not guaranteed for every submission.
  • Custom gear may take time to complete depending on development workload.

7. Refund Policy

  • All custom gear purchases are considered donations to support North Ridge County™.
  • Once development work has begun, refunds will not be issued.
  • Approved gear may not be transferred, sold, traded, or shared with other members.

8. Ownership & Use

  • All custom gear created for North Ridge County™ remains the property of North Ridge County™.
  • Members may not copy, redistribute, leak, sell, or use custom assets outside of North Ridge County™ without written permission from ownership.
  • Any attempt to steal, leak, or distribute custom assets may result in removal from the community and further action if necessary.

9. Staff Authority

  • Ownership and High Command have final say on all custom gear decisions.
  • Rules and standards may be updated at any time to maintain realism and community quality.
