Hi, I'm Vanessa - former primary teacher, English lead and now Literacy Specialist Advisor and founder of Read, Play, Create.

After more than 14 years in education, I created Read, Play, Create to help put books, language and purposeful play at the heart of children's learning.

My resources are designed to be practical, engaging and easy to use, with a strong focus on story-led learning rich interactions and meaningful provision.

They're created with real classrooms, nurseries and young children in mind- giving practitioners plenty of ideas without taking away the freedom for children's interests and play to lead the learning.

Alongside creating resources, I also support early years settings and schools though training, consultancy and story-led curriculum development.
