I'm Vanessa, founder of Read, Play, Create, former primary teacher, school leader and English Lead.
After more than 14 years working in primary education, I created Read, Play, Create to bring language, stories and purposeful learning to life.
Today, alongside my consultancy work with early years settings and primary schools, I create practical resources to help practitioners strengthen language, literacy, provision and progression.
You'll find everything from free CPD and professional reflection tools to EYFS progression packs and story-led provision resources.
My aim is simple: to create resources that are genuinely useful, easy to understand and designed with real classrooms and settings in mind.
Good provision isn't about doing more. It's about making what we do more purposeful.
