Meet Tom Brand
Tom Brand is a writer, speaker, and proud native of Hopkins, Missouri. Raised on a farm, he grew up learning the value of a good story, a well-thrown hay bale, and keeping your sense of humor—even when sorting hogs.
Over the years, he’s worked in broadcasting, served in leadership with a national professional association, and spoken to audiences across the country—though he still believes the best stories start on front porches and gravel roads. His passion for community shows in both his writing and his real-world work, where he helps bring people together, solve problems, and celebrate what makes small-town life something worth remembering.
Tom and his wife, Beth, live in St. Joseph, Missouri. They’re happily surrounded by grandkids, a few dogs, and more good memories than they know what to do with. He still carries the same pocket knife he had in high school, has a soft spot for old tractors, and holds a deep belief that humor and faith are two of life’s most reliable tools.
