What's happens when you suspect your spouse is cheating on you? Confrontation? Arguments? Deep-fried dinner?
No matter how you'd go about it, in the latest short story addition to my shop you'll discover the calculated (and delicious0 way one wife exacts her revenge on her cheating husband....or, at least she thinks he's cheating on her.
As with Family Secrets, I wrote Feeding Suspicions many years ago, maybe in 2014 or 2015, sometime around then.
The story had actually had been in my head for years after seeing how much mayo and butter my mom would put on my stepdad's sandwiches or toast. I thought of turning the idea into a novel, but there just wasn't enough complexity to the story – believe me, I tried.
I gave it up for a couple years and then just had to get it out of my head.The result was this short story that has a nice O. Henry twist at the end.
