Tanuki Studio is a small shop for printable sashiko patterns.

I started the shop because I enjoy drawing patterns just as much as I enjoy stitching them. I wanted a place to share designs that are clear, easy to print, and practical to use for real projects.

The shop includes individual sashiko patterns, five-pattern bundles, and medallion templates. Everything is digital, so you can download the pattern, print it at home, and use it when you are ready to stitch.

Behind the patterns

I design the patterns for Tanuki Studio and stitch many of them myself.

A lot of the fun for me is seeing a design go from lines on a page to stitches on fabric. Some patterns are simple and repetitive, some take a little more concentration, and I am always working on new ideas to add to the shop.

I hope you find a pattern here that makes you want to sit down, thread a needle, and start stitching.
