About Me

I help parents and educators navigate the IEP process with clarity and confidence.

With 30 years in special education, I’ve seen the IEP process from every side of the table. I’ve taught across all grade levels in six states: South Dakota, Michigan, Ohio, Tennessee, Arizona, and Iowa. I’ve supported students with a wide range of abilities, and along the way I’ve worked as a mentor teacher, education trainer, and curriculum designer. I hold a Master’s Degree in Education and a Bachelor’s Degree in Special Education.

Today, I present nationally for the Bureau of Education & Research (BER) on AI-enhanced accommodations for students with special needs. I’m also a guest speaker for special education students at Augustana and lead parent workshops in partnership with the Siouxland Library.

Every resource in this shop is built from real classroom and IEP-meeting experience. Each one is practical, easy to use, and designed to save you time.

When I’m not working, you’ll find me with my family and our two chihuahua pups. 🐾
