Andrew Higgs is a BAFTA voting member, writer and director. His career in British television drama includes Brookside and The Bill, as well as international productions.

For twenty-five years, he ran workshops for screen actors, among them Hayley Atwell, Lily James, and Jodie Whittaker. The method he taught came out of the casting sessions and shooting days. It addresses what gets actors cast, which is not the same thing as being talented.
