Seven more deserving shelter dogs have arrived safely at their forever homes across Florida and California.
Elowen, now Maisie; Marlow; Juniper, now Nellie; Tansy, now Pippa; Maple, now Winnie; Orla; and Zinnia are finally home.
This was the busiest transport of the year for The Animal Rescue Organization. After all the planning, coordination and long hours on the road, seeing every one of these dogs settling into their new homes is the most beautiful reminder of why we do what we do.
Every rescued animal has a different story. Some were abandoned, some were found wandering the streets, and others spent months—or even years—waiting in a shelter.
We cannot change what happened before they came to us, but we can help change everything that happens next.
Now, they have warm beds, full bellies and safe places to sleep. They have cuddles, walks, loving families and homes where they finally belong.
We extend our heartfelt thanks to the seven wonderful families who opened their homes and hearts to these dogs. The photographs and updates we have already received show how deeply loved and well cared for they are. We could not be happier for them.
Seven dogs are safe. Seven dogs are loved. Seven lives have been changed forever.
This is why we rescue.
