Where a donation is made for a particular animal or designated cause, we make every reasonable effort to allocate those funds accordingly.
Dr. Alain Pierre Vermeulen is directly involved in the work of The Animal Rescue Organization and oversees the handling and allocation of donations as part of the organization’s fundraising and animal-care activities.
Having a designated person responsible for receiving and administering donations helps us maintain consistency and accountability and ensures that funds can be directed to the animals and causes for which they are needed.

Yes. Through our SPONSOR A SPECIAL SOUL initiative, supporters can choose to help a particular animal.
If you would like your donation to support a specific animal, please clearly provide the animal’s name when donating or follow the sponsorship instructions on that animal’s page.
Designated sponsorship donations will be allocated to the relevant animal’s care, which may include veterinary treatment, medication, food, rehabilitation, foster care, or other necessary expenses associated with that animal.
Sometimes an animal may receive more support than is ultimately required for a particular treatment or immediate need.
Where permitted by the terms under which the donation was made, surplus funds may be used to continue that animal’s care or to help another animal with an urgent need. This allows the generosity of our supporters to continue saving and improving lives.
Absolutely. Every contribution matters.
There is no donation too small to make a difference. Smaller donations combined with the generosity of other supporters can help provide food, medication, veterinary treatment and other necessities.

Potential adopters are required to complete our adoption application process. This helps us learn more about the prospective home and determine whether it is a suitable match for the animal.

The adoption application fee helps support the administrative and rescue-related costs involved in processing applications and continuing our work.
Paying an application fee does not guarantee that an adoption will be approved. Every application is considered according to the welfare and individual needs of the animal.
You can still make an enormous difference.
You can donate, sponsor an animal, support our fundraising efforts, purchase items from our rescue shop, share our animals on social media, or simply help spread awareness about responsible adoption and animal welfare.
Sometimes sharing an animal's story is what ultimately connects them with the person who becomes their forever family.
