About The Fourth Quarter Man
The Fourth Quarter Man exists for men who refuse to believe their most meaningful years are behind them.
At some point, the structure of life begins to change.
Careers end or take a different shape. Children build lives of their own. Titles disappear. Familiar responsibilities begin to fall away.
That transition can create freedom—but it can also create uncertainty, isolation, and drift.
The Fourth Quarter Man is not against retirement.
We are against disappearance.
Why This Exists
I’m Scott Clark.
After 33 years in the technology industry, I stepped away from my career and entered a season of life that looked open and free from the outside. But beneath that freedom were deeper questions:
Who am I without the title?
What am I building now?
What still requires my strength, experience, and voice?
The Fourth Quarter Man grew from my effort to answer those questions honestly—and from the realization that many other men are navigating the same terrain.
I am not speaking from the summit, and I am not presenting myself as a guru.
I am a fellow traveler—sharing what I am learning while continuing to build an intentional life.
Tools for the Trail Ahead
The products offered here are practical tools designed to help men pause, take stock, establish direction, and move forward with greater intention.
They are built around the belief that growing older is a privilege—and that our responsibility is to use that privilege well.
There is still strength to develop.
There are still relationships to deepen.
There is still work worth doing.
There is still life to be lived.
