Why I'm Often Questioned — And Why I Welcome It
People often question my motive as The Healthy Mind Advocate. I want to be completely transparent with you.
30 Years of Chronic Pain
Chronic pain was a part of my life for over 30 years. I may not understand every individual's unique struggles, but trust me when I say — I understand chronic pain in ways many don't.
I was diagnosed with many structural issues: degenerative discs, bulging discs, pinched nerves, sciatica, and more. Like you may be right now, I was convinced for over 30 years that my chronic pain was a direct result of those structural findings.
I know the structural findings are real. And so is the pain. But what I discovered changed my life.
The Discovery That Changed Everything
I am extremely driven and passionate about what I share — not just because it can help people find freedom from chronic pain, but for a much bigger reason.
I discovered how chronic pain can rob people of aspects of life far beyond the physical.
In my case — and in far too many others — discovering the true nature of chronic pain helped me realize the many lies I had constantly told myself for years. Lies that can be the result of lifelong comments people made, forms of abuse, or difficult life situations from the past.
My Goal
While my goal is to help people discover the true triggers of their chronic pain, my hope is these findings lead to something bigger — allowing individuals to heal as a whole.
That is why I created The Healthy Mind Advocate. And that is why I show up every day.
