About Me

I'm Kristen Powers, a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and public health professional with over 20 years of experience working at the intersection of mental health, family life, and women's wellbeing.


I built The Powers Mindset because I kept seeing the same thing in my practice: brilliant, capable women running themselves into the ground, exhausted, resentful, and quietly wondering why they could not seem to get it together. The answer was never that they were not trying hard enough. It was that no one had ever given them the right tools.


My work is grounded in evidence-based approaches including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, and nervous system research. But I am also a mother who has done this work personally. I have been both a single mom and a married mom, and I know firsthand what it means to carry an invisible load while trying to show up fully for everyone else.


Every resource in this shop was created from 20 years of clinical experience and the real conversations I have had with real women in my practice. These are not generic templates. They are the same frameworks, exercises, and scripts I use with clients, packaged so that women who cannot access therapy right now still have something genuinely useful in their hands.
