I am Dr Sophia Bergen, a highly specialist clinical psychologist (DClinPsy, UCL) and the parent of an autistic child. I have worked in mental health since 2007, and since qualifying in 2015 I have specialised in learning disability and neurodevelopmental differences, supporting individuals, families and professionals. As The SEND Parent Psychologist, I bring together my clinical training and my own lived experience to support the wellbeing of parents and carers of children with SEND. I created my six-part, on-demand webinar series as an accessible, low-cost starting point: a space to feel understood and validated, alongside learning practical, evidence-based strategies drawn from CBT, ACT and CFT.
