Philip J. Cunningham is the author of Tiananmen Moon (Rowman & Littlefield, 2009, 2014), an eyewitness account of the 1989 democracy movement in Beijing. A Nieman Fellow at Harvard University and a Fulbright Fellow, he has written widely on China and Southeast Asia for major publications and has worked as a journalist, author, and broadcaster across the region for four decades.
