Mandala Mayhem
Forget everything you've heard about mandalas being all peaceful, calming, meditative vibes. Around here, we throw hundreds of tiny dots, a ridiculous amount of competing colours, and absolutely no interest in pre-planning the design.
Instead, the design develops as the layers build. Sometimes there's a vague direction, but mostly I have just as much fun as everybody else seeing where it will end up.
Most pieces begin with something rescued. Others begin with a blank canvas because go big or go home is the mission of the day. Either way, the goal is the same: create something that fits firmly in the category of "things that make you go hmmmm."
All are one-of-a-kind, handmade in Canada, finished with a protective seal, and ready to become wall art, shelf art, framed art, or whatever other perfectly good piece of real estate needs a little more personality.
