Dream Journal: Entry 1 - Unicorn Valley

I've been experimenting with lucid dreaming for quite a while now. On and off trying different tricks to see what will help me wake up within the dream.

Since I've started my research I've learned a few tips that stuck. The first one was recommended to my from a video staring the being Bashar, an extraterrestrial channeled by Darryl Anka. He instructed viewers to "create a talisman, something that you'll find in your dream that will wake you up." This talisman is created very meticulously to represent something you Absolutely Don't Prefer, paired with something that is 100% you. The polarity of this talisman should shock you into lucidity.

And being the creative that I am, I came up with a charm bracelet that I could find or be wearing in any dream. The charm on the left is the head of my mascot Kohaime. He's a Feline Fairy character that I love dearly. And on the right is a depiction of a demon of some sort, chomping into a babies head. Not nice at all. And possibly so savage it has the chance of shocking me into awareness?

The second bit of advice I received was a tad more tame. And this was from a separate video where the speaker quickly explained how well water holds intention. And that you could do a two for one special. Drink half the glass before bed, stating and imbuing the water with the intension that you'll both be lucid in your dreams and remember them when you wake, and then drink the second half of the glass when you wake to solidify the memory of the dreams.

I've done this method several times at this point, and my recall has defiantly gone up. So I know I can recommend it.

The whole point of this, and the reason I strive for mastery over the lucid dreaming state is so that I can bring about Lucid Living! A concept I will touch on in the next dream entry; so stay tuned!

Dream Journal: Entry 1 - Unicorn Valley

I became aware of the fact that I was dreaming when I realized that I was standing on a singular patch of vividly rendered wild grass common to places in western USA. I stared down at my feet, barefoot, and scrunched up my toes. Testing the earthy texture. It had a cool dewy quality and I took a moment to revel in this information. Surrounding me and this singular patch of grass, maybe enough to sit down in or walk around in one tight circle, was total blackness. Inky nothingness as far as I could see, yet I knew a dream landscape existed here and that it just hadn't rendered yet.

As I got my bearings I gathered several pieces of information all at once, in typical dream fashion. Something I intuitively picked up on for example, was the existence of a heard of unicorns not far from where I stood in the blackness that surrounded me.

It was serene being in this place. I also picked up on the fact that if I tried to force the dream to load my surroundings prematurely, I'd loose lucidity. And I didn't want that. So instead of trying to see where I was going, I walked to where I felt they where intuitively, and the rendered patch followed where I was walking like a conscious spotlight until I was staring at, the most beautiful, and unusual unicorn I’d ever seen.

The unicorn had brown and tan stripped hair, and a gorgeous speckled brown coat resembling a painted stallion, with slightly longer sleek fur. And of course a lovely horn. She was pure magic, her eyes where very expressive and large. I felt so privileged to be encountering these creatures in a heard.

While I was observing this wonderful creature the surrounding landscape started to slowly come into blurry view around me where it wasn’t already vivid, but recognizable as a valley of wild grass.

I started a conversation with this particular unicorn and she agreed to give me a ride back to their encampment, and as I hopped on her back, the dream became increasingly more vivid, I felt her fur/hair under my fingers and the weight of her gallop.

The other members of the herd had joined us as well, and the wise Elder woman Unicorn of the group started explaining to me the importance of attending a ceremony once I arrived to turn me into a unicorn.

And then I lost lucidity and woke up!
