It’s The Tune That Counts

Here's a bit of light fun from Fats and His Rhythm.

A fairly forgettable tune but again made great in Fats' hands and nice to hear him in such a laid-back mode.

After a fun and inventive run-through of the main tune, I've included Fats' playing as he plays under his fellow Rhythm band members to illustrate how Fats "comps" during his buddies' solos. Note, while still undeniable stride piano, it is unobtrusive and sensitive to his fellow musician's playing.
