First of all, I want to preface this by saying that if you’re in a funk….. there is absolutely nothing wrong with you. You're human, and humans experience, process, and feel. We also carry old stuff that hasn’t yet been processed and released that may get activated at any point in time.... even years and years later.
 
We all have our funky moments and funky days, and that’s okay! What’s not okay is when we judge ourselves, judge the funkiness, and allow it to consume us and take over. Robbing us of precious moments and time we could, otherwise, be spending in joy.
 
The best ways I’ve found to get out of a funk are through: EFT (otherwise known as “tapping”), giving "the funk" a voice and asking it questions (every emotion, every feeling is information), meditation, and *appreciation*.
 
In this meditation, we’re going to focus on the latter…. appreciation.

Cultivating a practice of extreme gratitude is incredibly eye opening, and helps us to shift our perspective to everything we *do* have, all we *are* blessed with, all we *do* have going for us, and that *is* working. Everyone has something to be thankful for. 

So, whenever you're in a funk, this is an incredibly helpful meditation that'll help you slide into a different feeling and space. We all have the power to make this shift, to change our focus... if we're willing to do so :)
