Deliver a complete eight-lesson Badminton programme for Years 5–6 that progresses from controlled rallies to purposeful competitive play.

Lessons cover rally control and recovery, serving, returning and the first three shots, overhead clears for depth, drop and net shots, front-to-back movement and controlled smashing. Pupils then apply shot combinations within singles tactics, doubles rotation and communication before completing a competition and assessment lesson.

The scheme provides opening curriculum and inclusion guidance, detailed lesson plans and a matching visual infographic for every lesson. It includes technical cues, vocabulary, court organisation, rules, safety, Head–Heart–Hands assessment, AfL, STEP differentiation, SEND and EAL strategies and metacognitive reflection.

Modified courts and progressive challenges help pupils experience successful rallies while developing accurate technique, tactical awareness, movement, cooperation and officiating skills.
