The Fission Festival scarves are worked with 2 yarns held together in a marl. The reversible design is created with Fission Knitting; the Fission Knitting Tutorials are available for all the cables.
This narrow scarf is knit a a tight gauge for maximum warmth. Alpaquina’s alpaca content ensures that the fabric is luxuriously drapey.
Yarn: 2 colours of fingering weight yarn
Yarn Usage: 230 yd/ 210 m of each colour
Needles: 4.5 mm/ US #7 needle; straight or circular.
Gauge: 22 st and 40 rows to 4 in/ 10 cm in purlwise garter holding 2 yarns together
Sample Finished Size: 2.5 in/ 6.5 cm in width; 66 in/ 168 cm in length
Notions: cable needle, tapestry needle, 1 removable stitch marker
Recommended Yarn: Katia Alpaquina; Colour 307 (MC: Light grey), Colour 302 (CC-Raspberry); 1 skein.
