My partner was complaining of cold hands when he was working in our spare room/home office. I often wear fingerless mitts when typing but having looked at available patterns, I couldn’t find anything he regarded as masculine so I dug some DK out of my stash and started creating these warm fingerless gloves.
To fit a man’s hand, 22-23cm round the palm below the fingers. Advice is also given on creating a 20cm version
It is a useful stashbuster if you have a couple of left over balls of DK. The gloves use a little less than 100g of DK yarn (115m/50g). Choose a 100% wool or wool rich yarn
Worked in the round on either 3.25mm double-pointed or circular needles.
Pattern offer
This pattern is also available in a bundle with the matching fingerless gloves, Hamilton Handwarmers.
