This is a fascinating and rewarding Salento Negromaro, worth keeping in the cellar to
drink a glass at just the right moment.Intense red wine with an explosion of carob
and raisins on the nose; spicy hints of blackpepper and tobacco in the mouth. The finish
is long with firm structure.

Guagnano - La vendemmia viene effettuata manualmente l’ultima decade di
settembre.
IN CANTINA
Al termine del periodo di appassimento che avviene in cassette di legno
e che dura circa 30 giorni, le uve vengono sottoposte ad una pigiaturadiraspatura delicata. La macerazione si protrae all’incirca per 2 settimane.
Il vino affina 12 mesi in barrique di rovere francese.
DURATA
Vino pronto dopo circa 6 mesi di affinamento in bottiglia. Durata non
inferiore ai 15/20 anni. Solo nelle annate migliori vengono prodotte non più
di 7.000 bottiglie.

PRODUCTION AREA AND HARVEST TIME
Guagnano - Manual harvesting at the end of September.
AT THE WINERY
After the drying process (about 30 days) in small wooden boxes, the grapes
are crushed and destemmed softly. The maceration process lasts up to 2
weeks and the resulting wine is aged for 12 months in French oak barrels.
AGEING POTENTIAL
The wine is ready 6 months after the bottling. It can be kept for at least 15/20
years. The wine is only produced in the best vintages and the production is
limited to about 7,000 bottles.
