Sadie Necklace

Popular in jewellery, for centuries and across various cultures, the heart symbol (❤️) can be dated back to the  middle ages when it was used to represent love (now there's a surprise, eh?) - both romantic and maternal.

This symbolic way of signifying love was very much favoured in the 15th century (our anchesters were a romantic bunch!) and the heart was quickly adopted by jewellery makers, and to this day, jewellery featuring hearts is still very popular with both jewellery enthusiasts and jewellery designers alike.

Myself included.  Single gals, like me, do have romantic tendancies - although I save mine for the 'drawing board' and the jewellery I make. 😉

The Sadie Necklace, with it's heart shaped focal has the timelessness you'd expect from a piece of jewellery with such a long back story, but, as always, I had to put my own stamp on it.

And that 'stamp' is the two exquisite and sparkling clear crystals, 'encased' in silver toned, hexagonal prism 'cages'.  Stunning? Yes! Unusual, abso-bloody-tutely!

The geometric design of the crystal confining 'cages', one of which is suspended within the heart pendant, being the opposite of the smooth curves of the silver tone heart,  give this piece added interest through contrast.
  
The second, smaller hexagonal prism and crystal is attached to the end of the two inch extender, which in turn allows you to wear the piece as either an 18 or 20 inch Necklace. 

This gives you added versatility, as you can 'match' the Sadie Necklace's length to your outfit's neckline.

As they are all super-bright silver tone, the metal components in this contempoary styled necklace, are quite dazzling, so be warned, those around you may well be mesmerised - like rabbits in headlights.

The chain consists of double links throughout and the lobster claw clasp will help ensure that the Sadie Necklace stays around your neck.
