Estudio Nº 8: Albores del Valle

🇺🇸 A point of technical consolidation and interpretive maturity.

This study represents the culmination of a fundamental stage within the Fifteen Studies. Maestro Silva composed it in Maracay in 2005 as the moment to consolidate everything taught in the beginning, preparing the student (technically and spiritually) for the greater demands that will come in the following studies.

Musically, the piece flows with serenity until a surprise moment towards the end: a brief, almost dramatic arpeggio in sixteenth notes with slurs on the first string.

Beyond technique, the author invites us here to a deep reflection: "All music demands the best interpretation and, ultimately, one must appropriate the work in the depths of our feeling."

It is dedicated to his student Andreina del Valle and to Maestro Pedro Ángel.

🇪🇸 Un punto de consolidación técnica y madurez interpretativa.

Este estudio representa la culminación de una etapa fundamental dentro de los Quince Estudios. El Maestro Silva lo compuso en Maracay en el año 2005 como el momento para consolidar todo lo impartido en los inicios, preparando al estudiante para las exigencias mayores que vendrán en los estudios siguientes.

Musicalmente, la pieza transcurre con serenidad hasta un momento sorpresivo hacia el final: un breve y casi aparatoso arpegio en semicorcheas con ligaduras en la primera cuerda.

Más allá de la técnica, el autor nos invita aquí a una reflexión profunda: "Toda la música exige la mejor interpretación y, en definitiva, hay que apropiarse de la obra en lo profundo de nuestro sentimiento".

Está dedicado a su alumna Andreina del Valle y al maestro Pedro Ángel.
