The Bell 407 helicopter is a civil utility helicopter with four blades and a single engine. The 407 is a derivation of the Bell 206L-4 LongRanger, but instead of the 206L-4's two-blade, semi-rigid, teetering rotor, it has a four-blade, soft-in-plane design rotor with composite hub designed for the US Army's OH-58D Kiowa Warrior.
