Ruth’s best album so far - Ruths ethereal vocals make the tracks seem so personal, it is impossible not to be drawn into the stories narrated in the wonderful lyrics and beautiful melodies. The album is a real treasure.

"Heartland" the perfect title for songs that are truly from the heart... Songs from deep within the writer.. This long awaited cd was way beyond my expectations. The whole album is sublime, a true work of art.... It is beauty to the extreme, in its entirety..I cannot praise the album enough..

Wonderful - Ruth connects with people who have loved, lost love and remembered love, sung with passion and sometimes pain, played beautifully on acoustic guitar and piano.

Thoughtful.. Reflective.. Sublime..

For me this album as a collective is Ruth Nina Welsh at her very best…Like Joni Mitchell's Blue, it is songs with depth, that can only ever be reached by experience.

Absolutely beautiful just want to play this album over and over again, thank you Ruth xx

'Somehow' is an album filled with emotions, played and sung in a way you may be familiar with from artists such as Joni Mitchell, Carole King or even Sandy Denny but Ruth Nina Welsh is a unique artist with her own voice and style of playing, Ruth conveys emotion you can feel as well as hear. 10/10.

A magical experience. Wonderful vocals from Ruth and so much emotion in the lyrics. I just sat back, closed my eyes and listened right thru all 14 tracks. This album has a special place in my collection.

This is music for grown up people. If you like suzanne vega, joni mitchell. You’ll enjoy this.

Haunting and thought provoking. Found Ruth's music on FB and as there was an offer of free music I downloaded a track. As I was playing it for the first time I was so blown away with it I had ordered the EP before the track had finished. 

I absolutely adore this music…it stirs my soul and speaks to my heart.

The title I have given (Fantastic music), is the answer my 8 year old granddaughter gave to Ruth's music. I can honestly say that it hits all the age ranges.
