This shawl is a quick knit and includes a few fun techniques to keep your interest. There is a bit of lace, intermittent garter stitch stripes, and a border that can either be done in stranded knitting or double knitting.
The pattern includes charts and written instructions for the lace, and charts only for the colorwork border. Instructions are included for working the border in stranded knitting or in double knitting.
There are so many ways that you can make this your own: more stripes, less stripes, more lace, different colors.
Finished size: 50”x25” (127cm x 63.5cm)
Gray & cream stranded sample used 90g and 45g of Schachenmayr Regia 4-fadig in 1992 (natural) and 422 (gray) respectively (approx. 378m/414yds natural and 189m/207yds gray)
Red & blue double knit sample used 140g and 75g of Baah! Yarns La Jolla in Burmese Ruby and Blue Sapphire respectively (approx. 560yds/512m red and 300yds/274m blue)
