Programme note

Fantasy on Calon Lân was composed in memory of professional trumpeter Rhys Owens. Rhys played principal trumpet in the Royal Liverpool Philharmonic Orchestra from 1998 until his untimely death from motor neurone disease in 2022. The piece was performed at a concert to raise money for the MND Association.

Proceeds from this piece will go to the Motor Neurone Disease Association.
