Costa Rica Thunderstorm Sound Effects Library
While staying in the hills of Santa Teresa, Costa Rica, I had the rare chance to record an unforgettable thunderstorm. The area was so remote that we could only reach it by jeep or ATV, surrounded by jungle and overlooking the ocean.
One night, the electricity went out and a storm rolled in. I set up my recorder under a metal roof as heavy rain hammered down and thunder rolled across the coastline. Lightning lit up the dark sky, and the whole scene felt both powerful and calming.
I created this library for anyone who loves the sound of nature at its most dramatic. Whether you’re working on a film, game, music project or you just enjoy listening to rain and thunder for relaxation these recordings brings you right into that Costa Rican storm.
