Ard Ghlais - ‘height of the Green’

Ardglass is a small fishing village in County Down. Local history says it's been a fishing port for over 2,000 years.

It's the inspiration for the Ardglass Beanie, which pays homage to the fisherman's beanie. Perhaps because I'm from Boston, live on the island of Ireland, am a water sign or because I adore seafood, but I really think fishing is an incredible industry. It's a profession dating back to ancient times, and

obair chrua go cinnte.

Cniotáil Láimhe Designs are all about modern pieces that pay tribute to the craft; I'm delighted that this design also pays tribute to the long-standing fishing profession.

Pay What You Can I’ve introduced a permanent discount scheme that will help keep my designs accessible to a range of budgets while also pricing them in a way that reflects the investment put into my designs and craft.
